ABOUT LARA

Dr. Lara Macaron Sabbouri

Dr. Lara Macaron is the founder of “Visions” for Business Consultancy. She is currently a Business Consultant, Trainer, Researcher, Independent Board Member, and an Associate Professor of Finance at several universities in Lebanon. Her extensive experience includes 15 years of working at top-tier Lebanese banks.

Dr. Macaron holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Lebanese University and a Master’s degree in Finance from ESA Business School (Lebanon) and ESCP Europe (France). Her teaching focuses on Banking, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, and the Knowledge Economy. She is the author of the book “CSR in Lebanese Commercial Banks” and has several publications in international journals and local newspapers focusing on Knowledge Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Her business consultancy specializes in business strategy, financial management, market access, entrepreneurship, coaching and mentoring, monitoring and evaluation, corporate governance, and social responsibility. Her professional research is centered on case studies and needs assessments to highlight real market needs.

A skilled communicator and event speaker, Dr. Macaron has successfully participated in international conferences, numerous workshops, and TV and radio interviews. She holds a certificate in Economic Development and Entrepreneurship from Ball State University – USA, and multiple other certifications in Banking Regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (CAMS), Sustainable Development, ESG, Social Entrepreneurship, Corporate Governance, Board Diversity, Strategy and Leadership, Women Empowerment, Life Skills, and Public Speaking.
